Even in cyberspace, a parish is to be a model of a family. This community is, in a true sense, a "home away from home" because all of us are on pilgrimage together. At St. Matthew, we have come to be inspired by the beautiful song by Marty Haugen: "Let us build a house where love can dwell, Where all God's children dare to seek To dream God's reign anew. Where peace and justice meet; Here the love of God through Jesus, Is revealed in time and space; Here the love of Christ shall end division." Regardless of whether you are a full-time member or a winter member of St. Matthew or planning to visit us while on vacation to sunny Florida, you are welcomed into this community where we work together, pray together, listen together, and serve together. WHAT'S NEW
If you or someone you know (grade 8 and older) have been baptized, received First Eucharist but have not celebrated the Sacrament of Confirmation are invited to participate in a preparation program. Classes begin on November 9, 2009 at 6:30PM in the parish center. Registration form due October 23, 2009.
